Then you need to find different drills that will improve the players skills and confidence when playing. By using the Steve Nash coaches manual below you can find examples of practice plans and drills to use. Below that you have more links to other drills that can be used.
The main objective of the Steve Nash Youth Basketball program is for the children to have fun, through the game of basketball, ‘measure success with smiles’.
Secondary objectives are:
To assist the children in the development of their fundamental movement skills: running, jumping, stopping, starting, catching and throwing.\
To introduce fundamental basketball concepts in a fun inclusive environment.
