Midget Girls House League - Kanata team won silver medal at WEBL

Kanata Midget Girls House League team won silver medal at West End Basketball League (WEBL) Year End Tournament.

KYBA Midget Girls team coached by Sohail Abbas, finished tied for second place (with PBA team) after the WEBL regular season, with the record of 11-3-1.

In the Year End Tournament, the team ende pool phase with a perfect 3-0 record.

In the quarter finals KYBA team beat very good team from Goulbourn with the score of 49-27.

In the semifinals, the KYBA team defeated an excellent PBA team by 39-32.

In the finals, the team faced the best team in the league - a Nepean MG team that was winning their games on avarage by 20 points. The KYBA Midget Girls team played very well, matched up well but came up short by just one point. KYBA team lost 38-37 thus winnig the silver medal at WEBL Midget Girls Year End Tournament.
