KYBA invites ALL Members to attend our Annual General Meeting!
Our Executive Committee will review our 2023-24 season, present some awards, and present the proposed Budget for the 2024-25 season, for approval by members (by voting). Plans for the 2024-25 season will also be shared.
We will also vote in our Executive Commitee for the 2024-25 season. Any parties interested in joining the Executive Committee, becoming a Member at Large, or learning more about volunteer opportunities with KYBA, outside of the gym, please email our Administrator at kybaoa@gmail.com.
Due to the time and dedication of over 250 volunteers, KYBA was able to provide over 2000 basketball opportunities (# registrations) to our local youth in the 2023-24 fiscal year. There is no contribution too small - we appreciate and are happy to welcome any members interested in taking on a role with KYBA or helping out in any way at all!
Membership in the KYBA includes: (from Article V of KYBA's Constitution)
a. all current members of the executive committee;
b. all current conveners and coaches in good standing;
c. all individuals over the age of 16 years who are registered and playing within the KYBA (playing members);
d. the parents or legal guardians of any playing member who is not over the age of 16 years. e. persons who have served as executive members, coaches or conveners for ten (10) continuous years or more shall be given life member status in the KYBA.
