KYBA's Annual Scholarship Program: Deadline to apply June 19!

Scholarship applications due by June 19!

Dear Members,

As we draw to the end of another season and fiscal year, KYBA would like to request scholarship applications from our eligible members who are graduating this year.

The Kanata Youth Basketball Association (KYBA) was set up with the mandate to promote basketball to Kanata youth at all levels through both house league and competitive programs. In the 35 years since the KYBA was established, the association has grown to welcome over 1200 players by the 2019-20 season and continues to grow.  

Starting in 2004, the KYBA decided to award four (4) annual scholarships of $500.00 each, two to be known as the KYBA Chris Paulin Memorial Scholarships and two to be known as the KYBA Jack Donohue Memorial Scholarships.

The Chris Paulin Memorial Scholarships will be for one male and one female previous KYBA house league athlete while the Jack Donohue Memorial Scholarships will be for one male and one female previous competitive athlete.

Successful candidates will be presented their scholarships at our Annual General Meeting on June 29.
