Midget Boys Summer League Champions

The Midget Boys summer league had a great conclusion on Tuesday, September 14 when Team #1 (Smith) beat Team #2 (Watters) by a score of 44-39 in the Championship Final, The game was close the entire way. Each team had momentum at different times. In the final minutes, Team #1 needed to handle a full-court press by Team #2. They withstood the defensive pressure to secure the win in the final seconds. Thanks to all volunteer coaches; CJ Smith, Jim Watters, Matt Ryan, and Dusko Misic for leading their teams throughout the summer. Thanks to parents and players for the positive vibe brought to the court each week. And, thanks to weather forecasts not always being 100% correct; the Midget Boys league ran 8 weeks of Tuesday games with no weather cancellations!
