KYBA Releases Referee Training Details! *updated Oct 23*

The KYBA recognizes the importance of providing an opportunity to its players (current and former) and general members to learn another aspect of the game - officiating. Refereeing provides a great opportunity for young players to further improve their understanding of the game, but also to develop their leadership skills, decision making and management abilities.

Any members 13years and above interested in joining our KYBA Referee Program should plan to attend one referee training session per week.  Payment of $10 is required at the first session (which includes a referee whistle).

Week 3, Option 1	Thurs, Oct 11	8:00-9:30pm	Franco-Ouest Terraflex
Week 3, Option 2	Fri, Oct 12	6:15-7:45pm	Franco-Ouest Wood Gym

On Floor training will also be scheduled on the following Saturdays, where referees will officiate and learn on the court during KYBA house league exhibition games:
October 13, 20 and 27 

                                                 

Shot clock training will be provided on Tues, Oct 23 from 8:00-10:00pm at Franco-Ouest wood gym.  This training is for referees with more than 3 years experience who will be refereeing midget and juvenile games.
