Jayson has been a member of the KYBA Executive for the last 3 seasons, as well as a member of our association for over a decade. Jayson devotes a great deal of time and energy into many of the association's program, one of the many reasons he was this year's recipient of the KYBA Michael Rider Award.
As an ONL Head Coach, Jayson has led two different U11 teams to Ontario Cup Gold Medals in Division 3 and Division 4. Jayson also led his U12 team to a 10th place ranking in Ontario, winning Silver in Division 2. That team also won EOBA Division 1, Chris Paulin Memorial Tournament Gold and Blessed Sacrament Division 2 Gold.
Last season, Jayson's team finished 4th in Division 5, again taking home Gold at the Chris Paulin Tournament.
His philosophy, like so many great coaches, is simple: 100% effort, 12 guys, 4 quarters. His goal is to develop skill and confidence in each and every one of his players- game in and game out.
What Jayson brings to the table:
"My goals this season are to focus on accountability for the players (to themselves, their teammates & coaches). They will be taught to always give their all & to become good men on and off the court!"
Tryouts for U14 ONL will be announced shortly. Congrats to Jayson and all the best to him and his team this season!
