KYBA Novice Boys Sortouts on Saturday Sept 29th

Hello Parents,

Sending this update to inform everyone that we will only be having one sortout session this year, given the cancellation last weekend.  I am adding some time to incorporate some scrimmages to each session.  The one big change is the time.  See below for the new times on September 29th. 

Where: Kanata Highlands Public School, 425 Terry Fox Dr, Kanata, ON K2T 0N3. (Entrance at the back of school)

What to bring?:

• Indoor basketball shoes
• If you are a former KYBA player, bring last year's KYBA reversible jersey with a number on it
• OR if you are a new player, any other jersey or shirt with a number on it (if you have one)
• Water bottle

When: Saturday, September 29th, as follows - please note the arrival time which will get you through the registration, including jersey measurement:

• Skills Evaluation Session #1:
  Boys born in 2011 & 2012 - Registration at 1:00PM and Skills Evaluation from 1:15 – 2:45PM
• Skills Evaluation Session #2:
  Boys born in 2010 - Registration at 2:30PM and Skills Evaluation from    2:45PM – 4:15PM
• Skills Evaluation Session #3:
  Boys born in 2009 - Registration at 4:00PM and Skills Evaluation from 4:15 – 5:45PM

Still need coaches
We are lucky to have filled 16 of the 20 spots with coaches/assistants.  We are however looking to fill 4 more spots with coaches.  KYBA and the coaches share lots of information, and many coaches have been coaches for 1 year.  No previous experience required!

Without enough coaches we may be forced to cut up to 20 children from our program. Please step forward, and assist.  The league (children) needs you!
