The skills evaluation session is an important part of the start of the House League season as the results of this process will be used to create balanced teams. Participation by as many of our registered players as possible is ideal to help us accomplish parity. Please do let me know if your son is unavailable to attend.
During the skills evaluation, your son will rotate through drill stations where they will perform various basketball skills. There are no tiers in the KYBA House League and creating balanced teams is important to ensure we have fair and fun games.
The skills evaluation/sort-outs will take place on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at Kanata Highlands Public School between 9am and 12pm. Additional details to follow.
What the Boys Need: Each boy should have a separate pair of indoor basketball shoes. These shoes should not be worn to the gym but put on and off at the school. This will become particularly important if it rains and when winter conditions begin.
