Ottawa Next Level

In the 2019-20 season KYBA provided 250 players with the opportunity to represent the club at a competitive level on an Ottawa Next Level team.  This translated to 20 teams, from U10-U19 boys and girls.  
Another strong season had been underway, before the unfortunate shutdown due to Covid-19.  It's quite surreal that almost a year later, players are still dreaming of those days when they can get back to competitive play.
ONL teams are all coached by NCCP certified coaches working to make a difference in the lives of today's youth.  Teams practice 3 times a week (2hour practices), and also enjoy both league and tournament play (including multiple travel weekends).  Teams play in the OBL-East league, with some opting to play in the OBL or NPH leagues for even higher exposure and competitiveness.  The Ontario Cup, being the culminiation of the competitive season, was not able to happen in the 2019-20 season due to Covid-19.  Most OBL-E Championships were also cancelled - but our atom boys division was able to compete and conquer the OBL-E Championships - a longstanding badge of honour for our U12 Boys ONL team, being the 7th team to win the coveted trophy!  This is a testament to the strength of the foundational development program offered through KYBA programs.
KYBA looks forward to the return of competitive play for our athletes!  In the meantime, keep setting goals and working hard, believing in yourselves -  your day will come!
